This website is not a true or valid report or representation of my(kryz) life. Therefore, I ask you not to judge it that way. I realised a long time ago that personal feelings etc are only truely important to those that experience them, which means, me. Sure, a description of feelings can assist others in their understanding and appreciation of self.
Words are so bad at conveying meaning, be it verbal or written. It’s unforutunate that we put such a high value on words and their abilities. I’m willing to bet my left testical, that most ‘arguments’ or ‘people feeling angry at another’ is due to the fact that words have no way to convey a complete message.
loki and i have discovered massive conceptual holes in the english language through researching into other languages. English itself is a bastard language. It’s made up of a variety of other languages and chopped and changed and mixed up. Despite the combination of language concepts, there are still many many flaws, not just the words theselves but more so the lack there of. (I am not saying that the other languages completely cover all concepts of meaning). Comparing the number of feelings and emotions to the size of our vocab really is disturbing. But as the majority of a message is conveyed through the body language, not the words, it is important to
I guess, in a way, trying to express what I am feeling, or what I am trying to communicate in this medium is hypercritical of me. It was very important for me tho, to express my opinion of words and written communication of opinions and feelings and how poorly they can convey the real meaning. Thus false interpretations and understandings can occur. I think it is important to have a psuedo-subroutine thing running in ones mind, to be able to actively be aware that what we are reading or hearing may have an entirely different meaning.
Read between the lines.
New words are important, they entail new feelings and new meanings. Why is that a problem? Why is a word such as ’sifnt’, which has no substitute both physically or conceptually such a bad thing?
